Part 1: The Beginning

This story is about Brandon and his Best Friend Darryl. It also includes Brandon’s friends Paige and Elizabeth.

 

Brandon: Hey man, what up

Darryl: Nothing man. I just got off of work.

Darryl: So we still going to the show tonite?

Brandon: As far as I know.

Darryl: Are Elizabeth and Paige still coming?

Brandon: Yeah

Brandon: They should be here in an half-hour.

Darryl: Good (Smiles)

Brandon: What are you so happy about?

Darryl: I’m gonna ask Elizabeth if she’ll go out with me Friday!

Brandon: Man, I don’t know if that’s such a good idea.

Darryl: Why not?

Darryl: Why do you care if I ask her out or not? It’s not like you like her or anything, do you?

Brandon: Says nothing

Darryl: Well do you?

 

 

Elizabeth and Paige walk in:

Elizabeth and Paige: Hey guys, what’s up?

Brandon and Darryl: Nothing.

Elizabeth: Ok, then why are you all acting so weird?

Brandon: Were not acting weird.

Darryl: Yeah, we’ve just been sitting here forever waiting on you and Paige.

Paige: Well we’re here so let’s go.

 

They get in the car and go to the show. Once they get to the show:

Elizabeth: I’m hungry.

Brandon: Me too!

Elizabeth: I’m going to the concession stand; do you want to come with me?

Brandon: Yeah, let’s go.

Paige: Get me some nachos and a icee!

Darryl: I’ll go get us some seats.

Elizabeth: Ok. We’ll be back soon.

 

Go to Paige and Darryl:

Darryl: Do you know if Elizabeth is seeing anyone?

Paige: Not that I know of, why?

Darryl: No reason, I was just wondering.

Paige: (Jokingly) Why are you going to ask her out or something? (Laughing)

Darryl: Says nothing

Paige: Stops laughing

Paige: Oh my Goodness, you are going to ask her out aren’t you?

Paige: And you planned on doing it tonite.

Darryl: Still Silent

Paige: Does Brandon know you are going to ask her out?

Darryl: Yeah (Pauses)

Darryl: That’s what we were talking about before you and Elizabeth walked in.

Paige: Well, what did he say?

Darryl: He said he didn’t think it was a good idea.

Paige: I guess he still likes her.

Darryl: What are you talking about?

 

To Brandon and Elizabeth at the concession stand:

Brandon: Dang this line is long.

Elizabeth: Tell me about it.

Brandon: I need to tell you something.

Brandon: But you have to promise not to tell anyone.

Elizabeth: Ok

Elizabeth: What is it?

Brandon: Darryl is going to ask you out on a date.

Elizabeth:( Looking shocked) says nothing

Brandon: I told him it wasn’t a good idea.

Elizabeth: I like Darryl.

Brandon: What!

Elizabeth: You didn’t let me finish.

Elizabeth: I like him as a friend and nothing more.

Brandon: Oh.

Brandon: Well’ does that mean you not going to go out with him?

Elizabeth: Yes, that’s what it means.

Brandon: Good.

Brandon: Finally, we’re at the front of the line.

 

Back to Darryl and Paige:

Paige: Oops

Darryl: What do you mean, he has a crush on her.

Paige: I thought you knew.

Darryl: Sits and Listens

Paige: Brandon has had a crush on Elizabeth since the 6^th grade.

Darryl: No wonder he didn’t want me to ask her out.

 

Brandon and Elizabeth return from the concession stand:

Brandon: Sorry it took us so long, but the lines were so long.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I thought I was going to starve to death.

Darryl: Brandon, can I talk to you for a minute outside?

Brandon: Sure

Brandon: Excuse us ladies.

 

To Brandon and Darryl outside the theater:

Darryl: Man why didn’t you tell me?

Brandon: Tell you what?

Darryl: That you had a crush on Elizabeth!

Brandon: Who told you that?

Darryl: Paige

Brandon: Silent

Darryl: All you had to do was tell me that you liked her and I would have backed off.

Brandon: Really?

Darryl: Yeah really.

Darryl: You my boy.

Brandon: Thanks man.

Brandon: We still cool?

Darryl: For Sho

Brandon: Let’s go watch the movie.

 

Brandon and Darryl go back into the theater:

Brandon: Where is Elizabeth?

Paige: She’s in the lobby.

Brandon: I’ll be back.

Paige: where is he going?

Darryl: To ask Elizabeth out.

Paige: I thought you were asking her out?

Darryl: I was, but he really likes her so….

Paige: So you let him ask her

Darryl: Yeah.

 

To Brandon and Elizabeth in the lobby:

Elizabeth: Hey, I was looking for you and Darryl.

Elizabeth: The movies about to start.

Brandon: Yeah, we were having a little talk.

Elizabeth: About what?

Brandon: You.

Elizabeth: What about me?

Brandon: I have something I want to ask you.

Elizabeth: Well what is it?

Brandon: You know we’ve been friends a really long time.

Elizabeth: Yeah, since the 5^th grade.

Brandon: And I really like you a lot and I was wondering….

Elizabeth: Brandon are you asking me out?

Brandon: Umm, yeah

Brandon: But if you don’t want to…

Elizabeth: I would love to!

Brandon: Really?

Elizabeth: Yeah

Elizabeth: I never told you this, but I’ve liked you a longtime too.

Brandon: I see!

 

Paige comes out to the lobby:

Paige: Come on you guys, you’re missing the movie!

Brandon: We’ll be there in a minute.

Elizabeth: Come on, let’s go.

 

Part 2: Brandon and Elizabeth’s First Date

 

I’ll start with Brandon and Darryl:

Brandon: Well, tonight’s the big night.

Darryl: Where are you all going?

Brandon: To dinner and then a movie.

Darryl: Sounds nice

Darryl: Don’t tell me that’s what you’re wearing.

Brandon: What’s wrong with what I have on?

Darryl: Nothing….except

Brandon: Except what?

Darryl: She’s seen you in that a million times before.

Brandon: True, True

Brandon: Man, I’m gonna go change

Darryl: Well I’ll talk to you lata man.

Darryl: Cause right now, I gotta go to work.

Brandon: Alright, I’ll see you around.

Brandon: Goes upstairs and gets ready.

 

To Paige and Elizabeth at Elizabeth’s House:

Paige: So you ready for your date with Brandon?

Elizabeth: Yeah!

Elizabeth: I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.

Paige: So what are you going to wear.

Elizabeth: I was thinking about wearing that new outfit I bought at the mall last week.

Paige: Yeah, that was cute.

Paige: What shoes are you going to put with it?

Elizabeth: That’s what I’m trying to figure out.

Elizabeth’s phone rings:

Elizabeth: Hello, Johnson residents.

Brandon: What’s up girl?

Elizabeth: Nothing.

Brandon: We still on for tonite?

Elizabeth: Yeah, I’m picking out an outfit right now.

Brandon: Cool, I’ll be there in an half-hour.

Elizabeth: Ok, I’ll be waiting.

Brandon: Bye and hangs up

 

Back to Paige and Elizabeth:

Paige: Who was that?

Elizabeth: It was Brandon.

Elizabeth: He said he’ll be here in an half-hour.

Paige: Then I better get going.

Elizabeth: Ok, I’ll call you later.

Paige: Ok, Bye girl

 

Brandon arrives at Elizabeth’s house. He knocks on the door and Elizabeth’s father answers the door:

Brandon: Hello Mr. Johnson.

Mr. Johnson: Hello Brandon, come in.

Mr. Johnson: I hear that you’re here to take my little girl on a date. Is that true?

Brandon: Yes Sir Mr. Johnson.

Mr. Johnson: I see.

Mr. Johnson: Brandon come sit down.

Brandon: Yes Mr. Johnson (As he sits down)

Mr. Johnson: Now I know that you like my daughter and I know you will treat her like a young lady. Am I correct?

Brandon: Yes Mr. Johnson.

Mr. Johnson: I expect you to have her back by 11:00pm and don’t try anything funny with her, is that understood.

Brandon: Yes Sir.

 

Elizabeth comes downstairs:

Elizabeth: Brandon, are you ready to go?

Brandon: Yeah.

Mr. Johnson: You two have a good time and behave yourselves.

Elizabeth: Yes Daddy, Goodnite

Brandon: Yes Mr. Johnson

 

Brandon and Elizabeth drive off on there way to dinner. After they get to the restaurant:

Brandon: You remember when we were at the movies Tuesday and I told you I liked you.

Elizabeth: Yes.

Brandon: Well, I’ve liked you a really long time.

Elizabeth: How long?

Brandon: This is kind of embarrassing.

Elizabeth: You can tell me, I promise I won’t laugh.

Brandon: I’ve liked you since the 6^th grade, but I…

Elizabeth: But you didn’t know what say.

Brandon: How did you know I was going to say that?

Elizabeth: Because I’ve like you since the 8^th grade but I…

Brandon: Didn’t know what to say either.

Elizabeth: Yeah.

Elizabeth: That’s why I’m glad you made a move finally.

Brandon: I would have made a move sooner, if I had known you felt the same way.

Elizabeth: Well you know now.

Elizabeth: So now what?

Brandon: I know this is kind of sudden, but I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend?

Elizabeth: I thought you’d never ask.

 

Brandon and Elizabeth kiss. They finish dinner and proceed to the movies. After they take there seats in the theater:

Brandon’s cell phone rings:

Brandon: I’ll be right back

Elizabeth: Ok

 

To Brandon in the lobby:

Brandon: Yo what’s up

Tiffany: Hey baby!

Brandon: Who is this?

Tiffany: Brandon it’s me, Tiffany.

Brandon: I’m not your baby.

Brandon: We broke up months ago, so why are you calling me?

Tiffany: Why you gotta be like that?

Brandon: Because you cheated on me!

Tiffany: (Pauses) I’m sorry

Brandon: Look, I’m on a date right now.

Tiffany: So, who is she?

Brandon: Don’t worry about it, I gotta go.

Tiffany: Ok. I’ll call you later.

Brandon: Whatever, Bye

Brandon hangs up

 

To Elizabeth in the theater:

Elizabeth phone rings

Elizabeth: Hello

Paige: Hey Girl, what’s up!

Elizabeth: Hey Paige

Paige: So how’s the date going so far.

Elizabeth: It’s going really well.

Elizabeth: He asked me to be his girlfriend.

Paige: Shut up

Paige: You can’t be serious?

Elizabeth: I’m dead serious.

Paige: I am so happy for you and Brandon.

Elizabeth: Thanks

Elizabeth: I’ll call you later

Paige: Bye

Elizabeth hangs up the phone

 

Brandon returns to the theater:

Brandon: I’m back.

Elizabeth: Who was it?

Brandon: Nobody important.

Elizabeth: If it wasn’t important then why did you answer it?

Brandon: I didn’t know who it was until I answered it.

Brandon: But once I found out I quickly ended the conversation.

Elizabeth: Was it your Ex?

Brandon: Silent

Elizabeth: The silence must mean yes.

Elizabeth: I don’t know why you ever put up with her.

Brandon: Can we just stop talking about her and watch the movie.

Elizabeth: Fine, Fine.

Elizabeth: Let’s just watch the movie.

 

After the movie ends they drive to Elizabeth’s house. Brandon walks her to the door they kiss and Brandon goes home. Brandon gets home. He walks in the house and his ex-girlfriend is sitting on the couch:

Brandon: What the hell are you doing here?

Tiffany: I’m here to get you back!

Brandon: I’ve moved on.

Tiffany: I’ll do whatever it takes.

Brandon: Once a cheater, always a cheater!

Tiffany: You know you want me.

 

Tiffany starts kissing Brandon. Brandon’s cell phone rings and his ex answers the phone:

Tiffany: Hello

Elizabeth: Who the hell are you and why are you answering MY MAN’S PHONE.

Tiffany: Your man, bitch please he’s my man.

Elizabeth: Oh hell no, put him on the phone.

Brandon: Elizabeth

Elizabeth: Why the hell is your ex at your house answering your phone?

Brandon: Baby let me explain.

Elizabeth: Skip explaining, I’m on my way to your house right now!

 

Part 3: Brandon’s Ex and New Girlfriend Meet

 

Elizabeth drives to Brandon’s house while driving she calls Paige:

Paige: Hello

Elizabeth: Girl let me tell you what happened

Paige: Elizabeth

Paige: What’s wrong?

Elizabeth: Tell me why, Brandon’s Ex is at his house right now.

Paige: How do you know that?

Elizabeth: Because I called his cell phone and the bitch answered his phone!

Paige: You can’t be serious?

Elizabeth: Wanna bet.

Paige: Did you let him explain or did you jump to conclusions?

Elizabeth: I’m on my way to his house right now.

Elizabeth: I’m gonna beat her down.

Paige: Elizabeth, don’t do anything stupid.

Elizabeth: I gotta go

Paige: Promise me you’ll let him explain, before you start beating people up.

Elizabeth: Right now I’m not going to promise anything.

Elizabeth: I’ll call you later.

Paige: Ok. bye.

 

Elizabeth hangs up and rings the doorbell. Brandon opens the door and lets her in:

Elizabeth: Now explain to me what the hell is going on.

Tiffany: I’m here to get my man back.

Elizabeth: Well he’s not your man anymore, he’s mine.

Tiffany: Not for long.

Elizabeth: Oh is that so.

Tiffany: Yes that’s so.

Brandon: Ladies cool it,

Brandon: Elizabeth, don’t want her I want you.

Tiffany: Well if you want her, then why did you just kiss me.

Elizabeth: Brandon, what is she talking about?

Tiffany: Tell her.

Brandon: Umm…I didn’t kiss her, she kissed me and I pushed her away.

Tiffany: He’ll always want me, I’m his first love.

Elizabeth: Yeah, but he’s moved on.

Brandon: Yeah, I’ve moved on and you should too!

Tiffany: Fine, I’m out!

Elizabeth: Yeah, get the stepping.

Tiffany: Whatever! Brandon, I’ll see you around.

Brandon: Yeah , whatever.

 

Tiffany leaves his house:

Brandon: This has been one crazy night huh?

Elizabeth: Sits and listens

Brandon: Baby, I’m sorry about what happened tonite.

Elizabeth: Sits and listens

Brandon: It’s just she caught me off guard. I came home and there she was sitting in my living room.

Elizabeth: So when you saw her, why didn’t you kick her out?

Brandon: I was, but the she kissed me and then…

Elizabeth: That’s when I called and came over.

Brandon: Well, yeah.

Elizabeth: So why was she still here when I got here?

Brandon: She wanted to make you mad, so that hopefully you would break up with me…

Elizabeth: And she might get you back.

Brandon: Yeah

Elizabeth: She won’t get you back as long as I’m around.

 

Brandon and Elizabeth kiss. Elizabeth goes home. The next day Elizabeth and Paige go to mall:

Paige: So what happened with you and Brandon last night?

Elizabeth: Nothing (Pause) we’re cool.

Paige: Good, what about his ex-girlfriend Tiffany?

Elizabeth: I can’t stand her!

Elizabeth: Do you know the reason they broke up Paige?

Paige: Yeah

Elizabeth: Well

Paige: Well what?

Elizabeth: Tell me already!

Paige: Ok, but you have to promise me that you’re not going to tell him I told you.

Elizabeth: I promise, now tell me!

Paige: Tiffany cheated on him with Shawn and he found out about it, so he dumped her.

Elizabeth: Well it’s her loss.

 

Just then Elizabeth sees Darryl talking to some girl:

Elizabeth: Hey Darryl

Paige: Who was that girl you were talking to?

Darryl: Nobody you know

Elizabeth: So you’re not gonna tell us who she is?

Darryl: Her name is Crystal

Paige: Are you all dating?

Darryl: Maybe

Elizabeth: Is that a yes or a no?

Darryl: Were going out Friday.

Elizabeth: Maybe we could all hangout sometime?

Paige: Yeah right, he’d never agree to it.

Darryl: Yes I would (Pauses) As a matter of fact, we could go out this Friday.

Elizabeth: That’s cool with me.

Paige: Same here.

Elizabeth: I’ll tell Brandon tonite.

Paige: And we’ll see you Friday.

Darryl: Ok, lata

 

The big night is here. This time I’ll start with Elizabeth and Paige.

Elizabeth: Why were you being bogus to Darryl when we saw him at the mall Thursday?

Paige: I wasn’t being bogus to him.

Elizabeth: Yeah, whatever

Elizabeth: So what’s your real problem with him?

Paige: Nothing (Pauses) it’s just I don’t like that girl he’s talking to.

Elizabeth: Why?

Elizabeth: We don’t even know her like that.

Paige: I just have a bad feeling about tonite.

Elizabeth: You always have a bad feeling about anybody that Darryl likes.

Paige: And what is that suppose to mean?

Elizabeth: I don’t know, you tell me!

Paige: Whatever….like I saide before I have a bad feeling about this.

Elizabeth: Let’s just get ready to go.

Elizabeth: Brandon and Darryl should be here soon and we don’t want to be late.

 

To Brandon and Darryl at Brandon’s house:

Brandon: So who’s this new girl your talking to?

Darryl: Her name is Crystal.

Brandon: I hope you don’t mean Tiffany’s best friend Crystal..

Darryl: Yeah that’s who I’m talking about.

Brandon: Uh, you have to cancel all of us going out tonight then.

Darryl: Why?

Brandon: Man, what do you mean why? You know good and well that Tiffany is my ex and your trying to take her friend out with me and Elizabeth! Are you crazy?

Darryl: Man to respect your feelings for Elizabeth I let her go. So why can’t you just go out with us and have a good time, it’s not like Elizabeth knows who Crystal is anyway.

Brandon: Man, I don’t know.

Darryl: She’s not gonna find out and it’s only one night.

Brandon: Well, alright.

Brandon: I guess one night will be fine.

Darryl: I gotta go and pick up Crystal, I’ll be back in a minute.

Brandon: Aight, lata

 

Darryl goes to pick up Crystal. He returns to pick up Brandon and they go to pick up Elizabeth and Paige:

Elizabeth: Hey what’s up, I’m Elizabeth

Paige: And I’m Paige.

Crystal: Hi it’s nice to meet you. My name is Crystal.

Brandon: So, where do you ladies want to go?

Paige: How about we go play miniature golf?

Darryl: Ok. To the golf course we go.

 

They drive to the miniature golf course. Brandon and Elizabeth walk in holding hands. Crystal looks shock, she walks in:

Crystal: Darryl I’m going to the bathroom, I’ll be right back.

Darryl: Ok, hurry back

Elizabeth: Well be on the course waiting for you.

Crystal: Ok

 

Crystal goes to the bathroom. Paige getting a bad vibe from Crystal follows her to the bathroom:

Crystal: Hey Tiffany, it’s me Crystal.

Tiffany: Hey girl, what’s up?

Crystal: You’ll never guess who I’m hanging out with right now?

Tiffany: Who?

Crystal: Brandon and his new girlfriend.

Tiffany: Where are you all?

Crystal: We’re at the miniature golf course uptown.

Tiffany: I’m on my way up there right now.

Crystal: Are you going to do what we talked about earlier?

Tiffany: You know it!

Crystal: Ok, see you soon.

Tiffany: Bye

 

Crystal leaves the bathroom. Meanwhile Paige heard Crystal’s whole conversation and calls Elizabeth on her cell phone. To Darryl, Brandon, and Elizabeth:

Brandon: Dang what’s taking Crystal and Paige so long?

Elizabeth: I don’t know, but they need to hurry up.

Darryl: Yeah, I know

 

Crystal returns:

Crystal: Hey guys, sorry I took so long.

Darryl: It’s cool. Have you seen Paige?

Crystal: No…I thought she was out here with you guys.

 

Just then Elizabeth’s cell phone rings:

Elizabeth: Hello

Paige: Hey come to the bathroom.

Elizabeth: Paige, where are you?

Paige: In the bathroom and I need to tell you something.

Elizabeth: Ok, I’m coming now.

 

Elizabeth leaves and goes to the bathroom:

Elizabeth: Paige what is it, there waiting for us outside.

Paige: Remember I told you I had a bad feeling about that Crystal girl?

Elizabeth: Yeah

Paige: Well I was right.

Elizabeth: How?

Paige: It turns out that she’s Brandon’s ex-girlfriend’s friend.

Elizabeth: What….you can’t be serious?

Paige: And there’s more.

Elizabeth: What could be worst than that?

Paige: She’s on her way to do something to you, but I don’t know what.

Elizabeth: (Just stands there looking shocked)

 

Just then, Tiffany walks in finds Crystal and they begin looking for Elizabeth:

 

Part 4: A Surprising Turn of Events

 

Tiffany and Crystal find Elizabeth and Paige in the bathroom:

Tiffany: So we meet again.

Elizabeth: Too soon if you ask me.

Tiffany: Uh Peggy

Paige: The name is Paige.

Tiffany: Whatever! Can you give us some privacy?

Crystal: Ha Ha

Tiffany: Uh you to Crystal.

Crystal: What?

Tiffany: You heard me, get to stepping

 

Paige and Crystal leave the bathroom:

Tiffany: I have something I need to say to you.

Elizabeth: I’m listening.

Tiffany: I’m sorry for pushing up on your man.

Elizabeth: Is this a joke?

Tiffany: No, I was wrong for doing it and I’m truly sorry.

Tiffany: So are we cool now?

 

To Darryl, Brandon, Crystal, and Paige:

Brandon: Where is Elizabeth?

Paige: Why don’t you ask your ex-girlfriend’s friend.

Brandon: (Pauses) Crystal.

Crystal: Yeah.

Brandon: You wanna tell me what Paige is talking about?

Crystal: Tiffany wanted me to back at you, so she told me to go out with Darryl so I could find out more about your new girlfriend.

Darryl: So you were just using me to get information on Elizabeth?

Crystal: At first I was, but now….

Darryl: Just save the sad story for somebody else, cause I don’t wanna hear it.

Paige: Do want to tell him the rest or should I?

Brandon: There’s more?

Crystal: Yeah

Darryl: Well what is it?

Crystal: When I went to the bathroom, I called Tiffany and told her where we were and she came down here and…(Paige cuts in)

Paige: And Elizabeth and Tiffany are in the bathroom right now doing God knows what.

Brandon: Well we gotta get in there right now!

 

Brandon, Darryl, Paige, and Crystal run into the bathroom:

Elizabeth: I forgive you.

Brandon: Baby are you ok?

Elizabeth: Yeah I’m ok.

Brandon: Are you sure you’re ok?

Elizabeth: Yeah baby, I’m ok.

Tiffany: Brandon calm down, I’m not going to do anything to her.

Brandon: Right…lets get out of here.

Elizabeth: Ok. You guys can leave, I’ll be out in a minute.

 

So Brandon, Darryl, Paige, and Crystal leave the bathroom:

Elizabeth: I’m glad we had this talk.

Tiffany: Me too!

Elizabeth: I feel so much better now.

Tiffany: So I’ll see you around?

Elizabeth: Ok

Tiffany: Ok, Bye

 

Elizabeth leaves the bathroom and Crystal returns:

Crystal: So….Did it work?

Tiffany: Like a charm!

Tiffany: How about your end of the operation?

Crystal: Not so good (Pauses) it’s that stupid girl Paige’s fault that my half didn’t work.

Tiffany: Well part two of the plan is not going to work with out you, so you better make him like you again and quick!

Crystal: Got it.

Tiffany: Good

 

To Darryl, Paige, Brandon, and Elizabeth:

Elizabeth: This is one of the strangest experiences I have ever had.

Paige: I wouldn’t say it was the strangest, but it was pretty weird.

Paige: And it’s strange that Brandon didn’t recognize his ex’s best friend.

Brandon: She looks different, that’s probably why I didn’t recognize her.

Darryl: Yeah Paige, why are you always trying to start something?

Paige: You started it by bringing Brandon’s Ex’s friend with us and thinking that Elizabeth and I weren’t going to figure it out.

Elizabeth: Wait a minute! You mean tot ell me that you knew who she was and you let her come out with us anyway?

Darryl: Yeah, I mean you are the one who invited her.

Paige: Darryl cut the crap! You know Elizabeth didn’t know who she was or else she wouldn’t have invited her!

Elizabeth: Yeah Darryl, some kind of friend you are.

Paige: And that’s why you ended up getting played for a fool!

Brandon: Paige that wasn’t necessary and you know it.

Brandon: Now everybody lets just calm down.

Elizabeth: Don’t talk to me about calming down and you took me out with your Ex’s friend and didn’t expect me to figure out who she was!

Brandon: I told you, I didn’t know who she was.

Darryl: Man just stop lying. Elizabeth he knew it was her and he tried to get me to cancel us going out, but I told him it would be ok.

Darryl: So if you’re mad at anybody it should be me and not Brandon.

Elizabeth: I’m mad at the both of you.

Elizabeth: Come on Paige let’s go.

Paige: You both make me sick and I hope I never see either of you ever again.

 

Elizabeth and Paige leave the miniature golf course. Just then Tiffany and Crystal come out of the miniature golf place:

Tiffany: What’s wrong Brandon?

Brandon: I have a Problem.

Tiffany: What is it?

Brandon: My girlfriend is mad at me because I led to her and I don’t know what to do.

Tiffany: Did you try to explain to her why you lied to her?

Brandon: I was, but she didn’t give me a chance.

Darryl: Man it’ll be ok, she’ll get over it.

Brandon: I hope you’re right.

Crystal: Darryl, can I talk to you for a minute?

Darryl: Ok. Man I’ll be back in a minute.

Brandon: Aight man

 

Darryl and Crystal go off to talk:

Crystal: I know I messed up

Darryl: Yeah, you did.

Crystal: And I’m really sorry and I hope you will forgive me and give me another chance.

Darryl: I don’t know, because I really liked you and I thought you liked me too, but I guess I was wrong.

Crystal: I do or else I wouldn’t be trying to get you back. So will you forgive me?

Darryl: (Pauses) Yeah I forgive you

 

Darryl and Crystal hug. To Brandon and Tiffany outside the miniature golf course:

Tiffany: This kind of reminds you of the old days when we were together, huh?

Brandon: Yeah. Those were the good days, before you cheated on me.

Tiffany: Yeah, but I apologized and tried to work it out, but you didn’t want to here it and we eventually broke up.

Brandon: Well I do forgive you and hopefully we can still be friends.

Tiffany: I would like that, so I’ll se you around.

Brandon: Cool.

 

Darryl and Crystal come back holding hands:

Brandon: So I can assume that you all made up.

Darryl: (Smiles) Yeah we did.

Brandon: I say we go out and kick it! What do you say ladies?

Crystal and Tiffany: It’s cool with us.

Darryl: Ok. Let’s do it!

 

So they get in the car and drive to a night club. Surprisingly enough Paige and Elizabeth are at the same night club. Darryl and Crystal walk in holding hands as well:

Darryl: Man, Crystal and I are gonna get out on the dance floor.

Crystal: I’ll see you in a little bit girl.

Tiffany: Ok

Brandon: We’ll be over at the bar.

 

Brandon and Tiffany go over to the bar sit down and begin to talk. To Paige and Elizabeth:

Elizabeth: I can’t believe that Brandon would do that to me.

Paige: Me either.

Elizabeth: And then on top of that he hasn’t tried to call me or anything!

Paige: Isn’t that Brandon and Tiffany sitting at the bar?

Elizabeth: You can’t be serious?

Paige: It looks like him to me.

 

Elizabeth gets up and makes her way through the crowd to the bar were Brandon and Tiffany are sitting:

Elizabeth: So this is why you haven’t called me.

Brandon: Elizabeth, I can explain.

Elizabeth: Save it, cause I don’t even want to hear it! It’s over! I’m tried of you lying to me!

 

Part 5: Brandon’s Big Problem

 

Brandon runs out and follows Elizabeth. Meanwhile Paige goes to talk to Tiffany:

Paige: You’ve got some nerve coming in here with Brandon and you know he has a girlfriend!

Tiffany: It was his idea for Crystal and I to come here with him and Darryl.

Paige: Darryl (Pauses) Where is he?

Tiffany: On the dance floor with Crystal.

 

Paige leaves and goes to talk to Darryl. To Brandon and Elizabeth outside the night club:

Brandon: Bay wait (Grabs he arm)

Elizabeth: I’m not your baby (Pulling her arm away)

Brandon: Why don’t you ever let me explain, you always just run away instead of talking to me.

Elizabeth: Because I can tell you still love her and you haven’t fully gotten over her. And I can’t take it any more, I’m not going to be second to her.

Brandon: You’re right (Pauses) I still do love her.

Elizabeth: (Pauses) Well call me when you can give me all of you.

 

Just then Tiffany comes out of the night club:

Tiffany: I’ve been looking all over for you, you wanna dance

Brandon: Not now, maybe later.

Tiffany: Ok

 

Brandon and Tiffany walks back into the club. To Darryl, Crystal, and Paige:

Crystal: Hey Paige, what are you doing here?

Paige: Don’t worry about it!

Paige: Darryl. Can I talk to you a minute?

Darryl: Ok

 

Paige and Darryl leave to go the bar to talk:

Darryl: Well, what is it?

Paige: How can you be in here dancing with her after she used you?

Darryl: For your information, she apologized after you and Elizabeth stormed off.

Paige: I doubt if it was a real apology.

Darryl: How do you know? And come to think about it, why do you care that I’m dating Crystal?

Paige: I don’t (Pauses) I just don’t want her to break you heart.

Darryl: No offense, but I can take care of myself.

Paige: Fine, I was just trying to help.

Darryl: Well don’t

 

Darryl walks back to the dance floor. Brandon and Tiffany return to the bar:

Brandon: Hey Paige, I didn’t know you were here.

Paige: (Frowns) Brandon, don’t talk to me.

 

Paige leaves the club:

Tiffany: I guess somebody’s still mad at you and Darryl.

Brandon: I guess so.

Tiffany: So, you ready to dance now?

Brandon: Ok

 

Brandon and Tiffany get on the dance floor. Just then a fight breaks out in the middle of the dance floor. A man pulls out a gun and shots are fired.

Brandon: Tiffany are you ok?

Tiffany: Yeah, how about you?

Brandon: Yeah, I’m good. Let’s check on Darryl and Crystal.

Tiffany: Ok

Brandon: Darryl Man, are you ok?

Tiffany: (Screams) Oh My God, Crystal’s been shot!

Darryl: Oh no! Baby wake up.

Tiffany: Somebody call an ambulance!

 

The ambulance and the police get the night club. They arrest the men that were fighting and the one that had the gun. Then they put Crystal in the ambulance Darryl get in and they go to the hospital. Brandon and Tiffany follow in there car. As soon as the police got Crystal’s information from Tiffany they called Crystal’s Grandma:

Officer C. Abrams: Hello may I speak to Mrs. Rose Willis.

Grandma Rose: This is she, how can I help you?

Officer C. Abrams: This is Officer Carl Abrams and I have some bad news.

Grandma Rose: What is it?

Officer C. Abrams: Your granddaughter Crystal Willis has been shot. She’s been rushed to St. John’s hospital, you need to get there as soon as possible.

Grandma Rose: I’m on my way over there right now! Thank you Officer.

 

Grandma Rose hangs up and rushes to St. John’s hospital where Tiffany, Darryl, and Brandon in the hospital lobby:

Tiffany: Oh Grandma Rose it was horrible.

Grandma Rose: It’s ok Tiffany baby, she’s gonna make it, don’t you worry about a thing!

 

To Paige and Elizabeth on the phone:

Elizabeth: Brandon and I broke up tonight.

Paige: What! Well I kind of don’t blame you.

Paige: Are you watching the news?

Elizabeth:Yeah, I’m glad we left the club when we did.

Paige: I know, somebody got shot.

Elizabeth: I wonder who it was?

Paige: What if it was Darryl…..

Elizabeth: Or Brandon?

Paige: Yeah, I called Darryl’s cell, but he didn’t answer.

Elizabeth: I’m gonna call Brandon, hold on.

 

Elizabeth calls Brandon, but his cell phone is off. Elizabeth clicks back over:

Paige: Well, did he answer?

Elizabeth: His phone isn’t on.

Elizabeth: What hospital is the person in?

Paige: St. John’s.

Elizabeth: I’m on my way to come pick you up, cause were going down there.

Paige: Alright, I’ll be ready.

 

Elizabeth gets in the car and goes to pick up Paige. After she picks up Paige they drive to St. John’s hospital. When Elizabeth and Paige walk in they see Brandon hugging Tiffany and Darryl sitting in the lobby:

Elizabeth: Brandon, you’re ok!

Brandon: Elizabeth, what are you doing here?

Elizabeth: I was watching the news and I saw they shot up the club and they didn’t tell who got shot so….

Brandon: So you came to check and see if it was me?

Elizabeth: Well…Yeah.

Paige: Darryl

Darryl: Paige, leave me alone.

Paige: Fine

Paige: Where is Crystal?

Tiffany: (Crying) She’s the one that got shot.

Paige: (Pauses) I’m so sorry.

Grandma Rose: It’s ok, she’ll be alright.

Tiffany: (Yelling) Sure you are, you never even liked her.

Paige: Just because I didn’t like her, doesn’t mean I wanted her to get shot.

Darryl: Paige shut up!

Grandma Rose: Everybody just calm down!

 

Just then Dr. Adams comes in:

Grandma Rose: Doctor, is my grandbaby ok?

Dr. Adams: I’m not going to lie to you, it doesn’t look good right now. She’s going to have to have surgery very soon in order to live.

Grandma Rose: Ok, you do whatever it takes to save my granddaughter.

Dr. Adams: I’ll do my best. I need you to fill out some forms before we can prep her for surgery.

Grandma Rose: Ok

 

Grandma Rose goes off to fill out the paper work. Meanwhile Darryl talks to Dr. Adams:

Dr. Adams: I’m looking for someone named Darryl.

Darryl: (Stands up) That’s me.

Dr. Adams: She’s asking for you, you can go in now.

Tiffany: Dr. Adams is she going to live?

Dr. Adams: She was shot right above the heart, so right now it’s hard to tell.

 

To Darryl in the hospital room with Crystal:

Crystal: Darryl?

Darryl: Yeah, it’s me.

Crystal: I have something I want to tell you.

Darryl: I’m listening.

Crystal: I love you and I didn’t want to die with out telling you that.

Darryl: You’re not going to die.

 Just then Crystal’s heart begins to fail. Dr. Adams and nurses try to revive her.

Part 6: Crystal’s Brush with Death

 

Dr. Adams: Sir, you’re going to have to leave.

Darryl: (In shock) leaves the hospital room

 

As Darryl returns to the lobby:

Grandma Rose: Is she ok?

Darryl: (Crying) She’s having heart failure as we speak.

Grandma Rose: Oh Lord, save my grandbaby!

Tiffany: What! I have to see her now!

Brandon: (Grabs Tiffany) There’s nothing you can do.

Tiffany: (Crying) I can’t lose my best friend, I just can’t!

 

Dr. Adams return to the lobby:

Tiffany: So, is she ok now?

Dr. Adams: She’s fine right now, but…

Darryl: But what?

Dr. Adams: If she doesn’t have surgery soon there’s a possibility that she may not make it.

Tiffany: Then what are you standing here talking to us for.

Darryl: Yeah, give her the surgery!

 

Just then Crystal’s long lost brother walks in:

Shawn: Is she ok, I got here as soon as I could.

Darryl: Who are you?

Tiffany: Shawn, what are you doing here?

Shawn: I’m Crystal’s Brother.

Brandon: So he’s the guy you cheated on me with.

Tiffany: Brandon, this is not the time.

Shawn: Thank you, I’m here for my sister not to argue with you. Doctor please don’t let my sister die.

Dr. Adams: I’ll do all I can, but I can’t promise anything.

Shawn: Ok

 

Shawn goes and sits next to Grandma Rose in the lobby:

Shawn: There taking her into surgery right now.

Tiffany: Ok let me get this straight, your Crystal’s Brother.

Shawn: Correct

Tiffany: Then why is it she never told me that?

Darryl: Yeah

Grandma Rose: My daughter died after she had Shawn and DCFS separated him and Crystal, so I never told her Crystal she had a brother.

Darryl: Ok, but how did he find out Crystal was in the hospital.

Tiffany: Yeah, because they don’t give the name of the person who was shot?

Grandma Rose: When I was filling out the release forms for Crystal, I called him from a pay phone.

Elizabeth: All of this is just too weird.

Paige: I’ll say, the night just keeps getting worst!

Brandon: Darryl man, I’m gonna get up out of here and I’ll check on you in the morning.

Darryl: Ok

Elizabeth: Yeah, I better go too!

Paige: Darryl, I’ll call you tomorrow, Bye

 

Brandon, Elizabeth, and Paige leave the hospital and go home. Meanwhile Darryl, Tiffany, and Shawn spend the night at the hospital waiting on the results of Crystal’s surgery. Finally Dr. Adams returns with the results:

Shawn: Well Dr. Adams, is my sister gonna make it?

Dr. Adams: Right now it looks good, but….

Darryl: But what?

Dr. Adams: The first 24 hours are the most important, if she makes it through those she should be fine.

Tiffany: Can I go and see her now?

Dr. Adams: Yes, but only a few minutes.

Tiffany: Ok

 

Tiffany goes into the room to see Crystal:

Tiffany: Crystal can you hear me?

Crystal: Says nothing

Tiffany: You can’t leave yet, I can’t lose you. You’re my best friend, you’ll always and forever be my best friend.

Tiffany: We’ve been through so much together; I don’t know what I’d do without you. So you have to pull through. (Pauses) Remember when I use to want to give up sometimes and you would tell me, you can’t give up that easily. Well now I’m telling you. You can’t give up, you just can’t.

 

Just then Crystal opens her eyes and smiles at Tiffany:

Crystal: (With a weak voice) don’t worry I haven’t given up just yet.

Tiffany: Crystal you’re alright!

 

The nurse comes in:

Nurse: Excuse me miss, you have to leave now.

Tiffany: Ok

Nurse: Your brother will be in to see you seen.

Crystal: I don’t have a brother.

 

Crystal’s long lost brother Shawn comes into the room:

Shawn: Hey Sis, are you ok?

Crystal: Shawn why is the nurse calling you my brother?

Shawn: Because I am your brother!

Crystal: But how?

Shawn: You remember how your mother died when you were 2 years-old?

Crystal: Yeah

Shawn: Well she died after she gave birth to me.

Crystal: Why is it that I’m just finding out about all of this?

Shawn: Because after I was born DCFS separated us, you went to live with Grandma Rose and I went to live with a foster family.

Crystal: This is just amazing because I’ve always wanted a little brother or sister.

Shawn: Well here I am!

 

Shawn and Crystal hug:

Shawn: Now you get some rest, because we want you to get well As Soon As Possible!

Crystal: And so do I, so I can get out of this hospital.

 

Weeks pass by as Crystal’s in the hospital recovering. Tiffany, Darryl, and Shawn go to the hospital to see her everyday. Finally they discharge Crystal from the hospital:

Shawn: So how does if feel to finally be out of the hospital?

Crystal: It feels good.

Tiffany: Well we’re glad to have you back.

Darryl: Yeah baby, I really missed you.

Crystal: Well I’m back

Shawn: Grandma Rose is at the house cooking up a home coming feast for you.

Tiffany: Are we invited?

Crystal: Everybody’s invited, including your friend’s Darryl.

Darryl: Cool. I’ll tell Brandon and everybody to come on over.

 

Darryl gets on his cell phone and calls Brandon:

Brandon: Yo,what up

Darryl: Are Elizabeth and Paige with you?

Brandon: Yeah, we’re about to go to the hospital and see Crystal.

Darryl: Change of plans, go to Grandma Rose house instead.

Brandon: Aight we’re on our way over there now.

Darryl: Bye

 

Darryl hangs up the phone. Darryl, Crystal, Shawn, and Tiffany get in the car and drive to Grandma Rose’s house. Brandon, Elizabeth, and Paige get in the car and drive to Grandma Rose’s hose. They all get to the house at the same time:

Brandon: Hey Man, has Crystal fully recovered?

Darryl: Just about, but she’ll have to go see Dr. Adams once a month.

Brandon: Oh, ok

Elizabeth: Hey Tiffany and Shawn

Tiffany: Hey

Paige: Hey Crystal, I bet your finally glad to be out.

Elizabeth: Paige! You make it sound like she was in prison.

Crystal: That’s kind of what it felt like, and yeah I’m glad to be out.

 

Everybody gets to Grandma Rose’s door. She opens the door and everyone goes in and sits down at the table:

Shawn Grandma Rose all the food looks great!

Grandma Rose: Thank you baby!

Crystal: Yeah Grandma, but why did you cook so much?

Grandma Rose: Because, I know all your friends were probably going to come over.

Darryl: Well Grandma Rose, you were right about that.

Brandon: Yeah Grandma, we’re here and we’re hungry.

Elizabeth: Brandon!

Brandon: What, it’s true.

Grandma Rose: Well baby help yourself.

 

Everyone starts eating until they get full:

Grandma Rose: I hope you all saved room for dessert.

Brandon: Grandma Rose I always save room for dessert.

Darryl: Me too!

Crystal: So Grandma, what’s for dessert?

Grandma Rose: Peach Cobbler.

Elizabeth: Oh Grandma, that’s my favorite.

Paige: Mine too!

Grandma Rose: Well you’re welcome to as much as you like.

Brandon: Now that’s what I’m talking about.

Grandma Rose: I’m gonna go get the peach cobbler out of the kitchen.

Elizabeth: I’ll help you.

 

Grandma Rose and Elizabeth leave the table and go to the kitchen:

Tiffany: Will you excuse me?

Everyone: Sure

 

Tiffany leaves the room

Shawn: I’m glad we can all hangout like this.

Brandon: Yeah it is pretty nice.

Shawn: So there are no hard feelings?

Brandon: No, we cool.

Shawn: Cool

Shawn: Excuse me, I’m gonna go check on something.

Paige: Don’t you mean someone?

 

Shawn leaves the room. Grandma Rose and Elizabeth return from the kitchen:

Elizabeth: Well here’s the peach cobbler (Sitting down on the table)

Brandon: Grandma it looks really good.

Darryl: Yeah. You really out did yourself this time Grandma.

Grandma Rose: Thank you baby.

Paige: Well what are we waiting for, let’s eat.

Crystal: I’m with you.

Grandma Rose: Where are Tiffany and Shawn?

Crystal: They stepped out for a few minutes.

Grandma Rose: Well I hope come back before all the cobbler is gone.

Brandon: I hope they don’t.

Paige: Yeah more for us!

 

To Tiffany and Shawn in the bathroom:

Tiffany: What are you doing in here?

Shawn: What do you think?

 

Shawn starts kissing Tiffany and they begin making out. Tiffany starts pulling up Shawn’s shirt, just then Grandma Rose knocks on the door:

Grandma Rose: You better come and get some of this peach cobbler before it’s all gone.

Tiffany: Ok, I’m coming.

Grandma Rose: And if you see Shawn, tell him to come get some too.

Tiffany: Ok, I will.

 

Grandma Rose returns to the dining room:

Shawn: We better get out of here.

Tiffany: Yeah, that was close.

 

Tiffany and Shawn leave the bathroom and return to the dining room:

Paige: Dang what took you all so long?

Tiffany: Says nothing (As she sits down)

Elizabeth: Everybody be quiet, Brandon has an announcement to make.

 

Everyone sits and listens:

Brandon: In celebration of Crystal coming home, I got us all tickets to “Tha Blowout Bash of 06” Starring D4L, Mariah Carey, Kanye West. Also starring Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole and Trey Songz.

Crystal: Oh thank you so much Brandon!

Brandon: No problem. Darryl told me you wanted to go, so I got us all some tickets.

Crystal: Thank you baby.

Darryl: Anything for you.

Paige: So when is the concert?

Elizabeth: It’s this Friday.

Paige: Great I’ll be there.

Tiffany: Me too!

Darryl: Well Grandma Rose I hate to leave, but I gotta go to work.

Brandon: Yeah we all need to get out of here and let Crystal get some rest.

Crystal: Ok, well I’ll see you all Friday.

Grandma Rose: It was nice meeting all of you.

Everyone: Bye Grandma Rose. See you Friday Crystal (As they leave the house)

 

Brandon, Elizabeth, and Paige drive off in Brandon’s car while Darryl goes to work and Tiffany and Shawn drive off in Shawn’s car.

 

To Crystal and Grandma Rose:

Grandma Rose: Honey it’s good to have you back.

Crystal: It’s good to be back!

Grandma Rose: You’re a lucky girl to have so many friends who care about you! Don’t you ever forget that.

Crystal: I guess you’re right and I won’t ever take them for granted.

Grandma Rose: Good.

Crystal: I’m gonna go get some rest, especially since the concert is tomorrow.

Grandma Rose: Ok, goodnite.

 

To Tiffany and Shawn at Shawn’s house:

Tiffany: So….Where are your parents?

Shawn: They’re on vacation for the weekend! You thinking what I’m thinking?

Tiffany: Yeah (She begins kissing him)

 

Shawn begins pulling off Tiffany’s shirt as they continue kissing. Tiffany pulls off his shirt. Shawn grabs Tiffany’s hand and takes her upstairs to his room. Once they get to Shawn’s room they sit on the bed and begin making out. Soon they start pulling each others clothes. Before they begin to have sex:

Tiffany: Do you have a condom?

Shawn: Umm….Yeah let me go get it.

 

Shawn goes and puts on the condom, then returns to the room:

Shawn: You ready?

Tiffany: Yeah

 

Shawn and Tiffany have sex. When they’re done Tiffany’s cell phone rings:

Tiffany: Hello

Mrs. Smith: Where are you, its 12:00am!

Tiffany: I’m hanging out with Shawn.

Mrs. Smith: Well tell him you have to go and get your butt home.

Tiffany: Ok Mom

 

Tiffany hangs up

Shawn: Who was that?

Tiffany: It was my mom…. (Pauses) I gotta go.

Shawn: Ok. Let me put on some clothes and I’ll drive you home.

Tiffany: Ok

 

So Shawn and Tiffany get dressed, they get in the car and Shawn takes Tiffany home:

Tiffany: So I’ll see you tomorrow night, right?

Shawn: Yeah

Tiffany: Ok, bye (Kisses Shawn on the cheek)

 

Tiffany goes in the house and Shawn drives away

Part 7: One Crazy Night

 

The big night is finally here the night of the concert and everybody’s really excited!

 

To Crystal and Darryl at Crystal’s house:

Darryl: Happy Birthday Baby!

Crystal: Thank You (Kissing him on the cheek)

Darryl: So you ready to go, we gotta meet everybody at Brandon’s house.

Crystal: Ok, then we better get going! Grandma, I’m leaving now.

Grandma Rose: Ok, bye Crystal

Darryl: Bye Grandma Rose

Grandma Rose: Bye baby, you all have a good time.

Crystal: We will.

 

Crystal and Darryl leave the house on there way to Brandon’s house.

 

To Tiffany and Shawn at Shawn’s house:

Tiffany: I am so excited! I can’t wait to see Mariah Carey and Trey Songz perform!

Shawn: Yeah plus D4L and Kanye West, it’s gonna be tight!

Tiffany: Oh shoot. We gotta leave like now!

Shawn: Yeah. If we wanna get to Brandon’s house in time.

 

Tiffany and Shawn get in the car on there way to Brandon’s House.

 

To Brandon, Elizabeth, and Paige at Brandon’s house:

Paige: What’s taking everybody so long to get here?

Elizabeth: I don’t know, maybe they just left the house.

Brandon: I just talk to Darryl a little while ago, so they should be here any minute.

 

Just then Darryl and Crystal pull up, they come into the house:

Crystal: Hey girls!

Elizabeth and Paige: Hey Crystal

Darryl: Are you all ready to par-tay?

Brandon: You know it!

Darryl: So where are Tiffany and Shawn?

Paige: We were hoping you or Crystal could tell us.

Elizabeth: Yeah because we haven’t heard from either one of them all day.

Crystal: They’ll be here, Tiffany has never missed one of my birthdays!

Brandon: I hope you’re right, because we have to leave soon.

 

Just then Tiffany and Shawn walk in:

Paige: What took you all so long?

Tiffany: Hi to you too.

Brandon: We don’t have time to talk, we have to leave now!

Shawn: But we just got here.

Paige: If we want to get to the concert in time, we have to leave like now!

Darryl: Well, let’s get going then!

 

So Tiffany and Shawn get into there car, Darryl and Crystal get in there car and Brandon, Elizabeth, and Paige get in there car and start on there way to the concert. Once they get to the concert:

Brandon: Ok here are everybody’s tickets.

 

After Brandon passes out everyone’s tickets:

Darryl: Let’s go par-tay!

 

They all go into the concert. Once they’re in they see Mariah Carey on stage performing. So they sit back and enjoy the show, until Elizabeth sees a cute guy checking out Paige:

Elizabeth: Look at that cute guy.

Paige: Yeah and he’s checking me out!

Elizabeth: I think he might come over and say something to you.

 

Sure enough the guy comes over to talk to Paige:

Marcus: Hey my name is Marcus.

Paige: Hi, I’m Paige.

Marcus: I was wondering if you would give me your number, so I could call you sometime?

Paige: Sure

 

Paige gives Marcus her number.

Marcus: Ok, so I’ll call you later.

Paige: Ok

Marcus: Ok…Well I better get back to my friends.

 

Marcus walks back over to his friends.

Crystal: You go girl!

Paige: Yeah, he is pretty cute.

Elizabeth: Pretty cute, he’s fine!

Paige: True, True

Crystal: So now everyone has a date when we go out together.

Paige: Whoa, I don’t know about all of that. I don’t even know him that well yet.

Elizabeth: Yeah Crystal, let her have her first date with him before you jump that far ahead!

Crystal: Sorry

 

To Tiffany and Shawn:

Tiffany: Mariah Carey sounds great. This is the best night ever!

Shawn: Yeah I can’t wait til Kanye hits the stage!

 

Mariah Carey leaves the stage and D4L comes to the stage and begin performing.

 

To Darryl and Brandon:

Darryl: It’s a lot of fine honeys in here shaking there laffy taffys.

Brandon: Yes they are! But I got a girlfriend and so do you!

Darryl: True, True! So, I wonder where the after party’s gonna be?

Brandon: What after party?

Darryl: They always have an after party when the concert is over.

Darryl: Fa Sho

 

Brandon and Darryl begin asking around trying to find out where the after party for the concert is going to be.

 

To Tiffany and Shawn:

Shawn: Yeah, this is my jam! Shake that Laffy Taffy, that Laffy Taffy!

Tiffany: Shawn I’m gonna go to the little girls room. I’ll be right back.

Shawn: Ok, I’ll be here when you get back.

 

Tiffany leaves and goes to the bathroom. After she leaves some female comes up and begins talking to Shawn:

Jessica: Hey.

Shawn: Hey.

Jessica: I love this song.

Shawn: Me too! What’s your name?

Jessica: My name’s Jessica, what’s yours?

Shawn: The names Shawn.

Jessica: So…Are you going to the party after the concert?

Shawn: I didn’t know there was a party.

Jessica: Yeah it’s at Rainbow Party Place, let me give you the address.

Shawn: Ok

 

Jessica writes the address in Shawn’s hand

Jessica: I hope to see you there.

Shawn: Yeah, I’ll be there.

 

Jessica walks away. Just then Tiffany returns from the bathroom:

Tiffany: Who was she?

Shawn: Just some girl who invited me to a party after the concert.

Tiffany: Oh

 

To Paige, Elizabeth, and Crystal:

Crystal: So I heard there’s an after party the concerts over.

Elizabeth: You heard that too!

Paige: I don’t know about you all, but I wanna go.

Crystal: Me too! We need to get the address from somebody.

 

Right after Crystal finishes Darryl and Brandon walk over:

Brandon: That’s what we’ve been trying to do all night!

Paige: Have you had any luck?

Just then Tiffany and Shawn walk over:

Shawn: I got the address to the after party!

Elizabeth: Really?

Shawn: Yeah!

Paige: How?

Tiffany: Some little tramp came and gave it to him while I was in the bathroom.

Brandon: I see someone’s mad.

Tiffany: Brandon shut up!

Darryl: You all need to stop ruining Crystal’s birthday.

Elizabeth: Yeah. Shawn where’s the party?

Paige: Somebody write that down.

Brandon: I got it.

Paige: Good.

 

So they all just sit back and enjoy the rest of the concert. Once the concert is over they get in there cars and drive to Rainbow Party Place. Then they park there cars and go in:

Tiffany: This party is off the chain!

Crystal: Yeah. This is the best birthday ever!

Elizabeth: Brandon I wanna dance.

Brandon: If you all need us, we’ll be over on the dance floor.

Darryl: Us too!

 

So Brandon and Elizabeth, Crystal go and get on the dance floor. Meanwhile Paige and Tiffany are talking:

Paige: You think Crystal’s having a good time?

Tiffany: Yeah. She’s having a blast!

Paige: That’s good.

 

Suddenly Marcus sees Paige and walks over to her:

Marcus: Hey, I didn’t expect to see you here.

Paige: Neither did I.

Paige: Tiffany would you excuse us for a minute.

Tiffany: Sure

 

Tiffany leaves to go and find Shawn.

Marcus: So….You wanna dance?

Paige: Ok

 

Paige and Marcus proceed to the dance floor and begin dancing.

 

To Tiffany and Shawn:

Tiffany: You wanna go dance?

Shawn: Maybe a little later.

Tiffany: Ok

Shawn: I’m gonna go get some punch, you want some?

Tiffany: Sure

Shawn leaves to go get some punch. Jessica sees him at the punch bowl and comes over:

Jessica: Hey you, I’ve been looking for you.

Shawn: Well you found me.

Jessica: So….you wanna dance?

Shawn: I can’t, I’m here with my girlfriend.

Jessica: Oh, is that her over there (Pointing at Tiffany)

Shawn: Yeah, that’s her.

Jessica: I guess, I’ll guess you around then.

Shawn: I guess so.

 

Shawn leaves the punch bowl and returns to Tiffany.

 

To Paige and Marcus on the dance floor:

Marcus: I’m tried of dancing.

Paige: Yeah me too.

Marcus: You wanna go somewhere and talk?

Paige: Yeah, I’d like that.

 

Marcus and Paige leave the dance floor and go off to a quiet corner to talk.

 

To Darryl and Crystal, Elizabeth and Brandon:

Darryl: I’m all danced out!

Crystal: Yeah, let’s go get some punch.

Brandon: Wait for us!

Elizabeth: Yeah, we’re coming too!

 

So Darryl, Crystal, Brandon, and Elziabeth leave the dance floor and go get some punce.

 

To Tiffany and Shawn:

Tiffany: So…Are you ready to dance now?

Shawn: Ok, let’s dance.

 

So Tiffany and Shawn get out on the dance floor.

They dance for a little while. Then suddenly some drunk girl starts cursing Tiffany out. In a surprising turn of events, the drunk girl is Jessica:

Jessica: Watch where you’re going bitch!

Tiffany: Excuse me.

Jessica: You heard me.

Tiffany: Shawn let’s get out of here, before I say something to this stupid bimbo.

Jessica: You’re just mad because if I wanted your man, I could take him from you.

Tiffany: You couldn’t take him if you tried.

Jessica: That’s what you think.

Shawn: She’s drunk, she doesn’t know what she’s saying. Let’s just get out of here.

Tiffany: Ok

 

Tiffany and Shawn begin walking off the dance floor. Just then Jessica throws a cup at Tiffany’s head.

 

To Paige and Marcus:

Paige: So what do you do?

Marcus: I’m a college student and I work at a coffee house part-time.

Paige: Cool

Marcus: So where are you from?

Paige: I was born in, but when I was 13 years-old we moved to Majestic Gates.

Marcus: That’s nice.

 

Back to Tiffany and Shawn:

 

Tiffany turns around:

Tiffany: Ok, that’s it.

 

Tiffany jumps on Jessica knocking her down, then she punches her in the face. Jessica kicks Tiffany in the stomach. Everyone begins gathering around watching the fight.

 

To Crystal, Darryl, Brandon, and Elizabeth:

Brandon: What’s everybody gathering around the dance floor for?

Darryl: I heard some girls were having a cat fight.

Crystal: Well let’s go see what’s going on.

Elizabeth: Ok

 

So Crystal, Darryl, Brandon, and Elizabeth go over to the dance floor to see what’s going on. When they get to the dance floor, they see Tiffany fighting with some girl:

Crystal: Tiffany what the hell are you doing?

Shawn: Ok that’s enough, let’s get out of here.

Darryl: Yeah let’s go.

Elizabeth: Let me go get Paige, then we can get the hell out of here before the police come.

 

Elizabeth goes to get Paige so they can leave the party. She finds Paige talking to Marcus:

Elizabeth: Paige we gotta go, like now.

Paige: Why, what’s wrong?

Elizabeth: I’ll tell you when we get in the car, but right now we have to go.

Paige: I gotta go.

Marcus: It’s cool. I’ll just call you tomorrow.

Paige: Ok, Bye

 

Elizabeth and Paige leave. So Tiffany, Shawn, Paige, Elizabeth, Crystal, Darryl, and Brandon leave the party. They get in there cars and go home. The next morning Paige and Elizabeth go to the coffee house:

Paige: So why did you have us rush out of that party last night?

Elizabeth: Tiffany got into a fight with some girl so we had to leave before the police came.

Paige: Oh…. and I was having such a good time talking to Marcus.

Elizabeth: I saw, you really like him don’t you?

Paige: Yeah, he’s really nice.

Elizabeth: So has he asked you out yet?

Paige: No, not yet. I think he was going to ask me out last night before we left, but he didn’t get a chance to.

Elizabeth: Well, he’ll probably ask you soon.

Paige: I hope to rush off, but I gotta go….so I’ll talk to you later.

Paige: Ok

 

Elizabeth gets up and leaves the coffee shop. After Elizabeth leaves Tiffany walks in:

Tiffany: Hey Paige.

Paige: Hey yourself! What happened with you and that girl getting into a fight last night?

Tiffany: She was drunk and she was trying to talk to Shawn. I tried to be the bigger woman and walk away, but she threw a cup at the back of my head and that’s when I snapped.

Paige: Sounds crazy.

Tiffany: Yeah, I know. She had the nerve to say if she wanted Shawn she could take him away from me, yeah right.

Paige: Like that would ever happen, he’s crazy about you!

 

Just then Shawn walks into the coffee house with Jessica.

Part 8: Shawn’s Dilemma

 

As soon as Shawn and Jessica walk in Paige sees them.

Paige: Isn’t that Shawn?

Tiffany: Yeah!

Paige: Who is that girl he’s with?

Tiffany: That’s the girl that I was fighting with last night.

Paige: Oh…what’s he doing here with her?

Tiffany: I don’t know, but I’m gonna find out. Excuse me.

 

Tiffany leaves the table and walks over to Shawn and Jessica:

Tiffany: Hey Shawn

Shawn: Oh hey Tiffany. We’ve been looking for you.

Tiffany: Well you found me.

Shawn: Yeah. (Pauses) Jessica has something she wants to tell you.

Tiffany: I’m listening.

Jessica: I wanted to apologize for the way I acted last night. That’s so unlike me, it’s just I was having a bad day and then I had been drinking. So do you forgive me?

Tiffany: I guess so, but you still didn’t apologize about saying you could take my man.

Jessica: Well I apologize for that too.

Tiffany: Then we’re fine.

Jessica: Good then I’ll see you around.

Tiffany: Ok

 

Tiffany and Shawn return to the table were Paige is:

Paige: Hey Shawn

Shawn: Hey

Paige: So what was that all about?

Tiffany: She came to apologize.

Paige: Oh, that’s good.

 

Just then Paige sees Marcus at work behind the counter:

Paige: Excuse me, I’ll be right back.

 

Paige gets up and goes to talk to Marcus:

Paige: Hey you.

Marcus: Hey! We’ve gotta stop meeting like this.

Paige: Yeah I know.

Marcus: Maybe this is a sign?

Paige: A sign of what?

Marcus: That you should go out with me.

Paige: What? Are you asking me out?

Marcus: Yeah! Is it working?

Paige: Yeah

Marcus: So I’ll pick you up at 8:00pm

Paige: Ok, see you then.

Paige leaves and goes back to the table where Tiffany and Shawn are sitting:

Tiffany: So who was that hottie you were talking to?

Shawn: Hey

Paige: His name is Marcus; I met him at the concert last night.

Tiffany: So has he asked you out?

Paige: Yeah. Actually we have a date tonite.

Tiffany: That’s great.

Paige: I know right.

Tiffany: So what are you going to wear?

Paige: I don’t know, I was thinking about getting a new outfit?

Tiffany: That’s a good idea; we could all go out with you and help you pick one out.

Shawn: Hey I thought we were suppose to go to lunch today.

Tiffany: Not anymore, this is more important.

Shawn: Fine. I guess we’ll go out to dinner tonight. Can we do that?

Tiffany: Cool. Come on Paige let’s go.

Paige: Bye Shawn.

Shawn: Bye

 

Tiffany and Paige get up from the table and leave the coffee house. Shortly afterwards Shawn leaves the coffee house and goes home. Crystal, Elizabeth, Paige, and Tiffany meet up at the mall to help Paige pick out an outfit for her date:

Crystal: How about this shirt with those jeans?

Tiffany: No, that would make her look slutty.

Crystal: I’m not asking you, I’m asking her.

Paige: I kind of agree with Tiffany. I mean I don’t want to send him the wrong message.

Elizabeth: Yeah I mean this is there first date.

Paige: I’ll keep the jeans, we just need to find another shirt that’s not so…..

Elizabeth: Flashy.

Paige: Yeah.

Tiffany: Oh, how about this one?

Elizabeth: Yeah that’s perfect.

Crystal: Yeah but let’s see what Paige thinks.

Paige: Ladies I think we’ve found a winner.

 

Paige goes to the cash register and buys the outfit. Then the girls leave the store and go to the food court to get some lunch. Meanwhile Brandon and Darryl are on there way to Shawn’s house to watch a basketball game.

 

Back to Paige, Elizabeth, Crystal, and Tiffany:

Paige: Thanks for coming with me girls.

Elizabeth: It was no problem.

Crystal: Yeah, but Tiffany I thought you were suppose to have lunch with Shawn today.

Tiffany: I canceled so that we could go out today.

Paige: But you all are still going out tonight, right?

Tiffany: Yeah, I guess.

Elizabeth: What’s wrong with you Tiffany?

Tiffany: I don’t feel so good….Where’s the bathroom?

Crystal: I’ll take you. We’ll be right back.

 

Crystal and Tiffany get up and go to the bathroom:

Paige: I wonder what the guys are up to today?

Elizabeth: Brandon said that he and Darryl were going over Shawn’s house to watch a basketball game.

Paige: Oh. I bet there having fun.

Elizabeth: Yeah probably.

 

Crystal returns from the bathroom:

Elizabeth: So how’s Tiffany?

Crystal: She’s fine now, she’s cleaning up. She should be out in a minute.

Paige: I wonder if it was something she ate?

Crystal: Yeah, that’s what she thinks it is.

 

Tiffany returns to the table:

Tiffany: Sorry about that, I’m so embarrassed.

Elizabeth: Don’t worry about it.

Paige: Yeah. That happens to everybody once and awhile.

Tiffany: True, True

Crystal: Come on girls; let’s help Paige find some new shoes to go with this cute outfit.

Paige: Let’s do it.

 

The girls get up and begin shopping for shoes.

 

To Brandon and Darryl at Shawn’s house:

Brandon: Now that was a good first half.

Darryl: Yeah, Allen Iverson was doing it.

Shawn: Man please, Carmelo Anthony was whooping Iverson.

Brandon: I can’t tell.

Darryl: Especially since the Sixers are up by 5.

Shawn: Not for long.

Brandon: Man whatever. What you got to eat around here?

Shawn: Check the fridge.

 

Brandon gets up off the couch and looks in the fridge.

Darryl: Thanks for inviting us over.

Shawn: Anytime.

Darryl: Crystal told me that you and Tiffany had a lunch date today.

Shawn: Aww yeah, she canceled because she wanted to help find an outfit for her date tonight.

Darryl: Paige has a date tonight?

Brandon: (As he returns from the kitchen) Yeah that’s what Elizabeth told me.

Darryl: With who?

Shawn: Some dude name Marcus.

Darryl: Why am I the last person finding this out?

Brandon: Man I thought Crystal told you.

Darryl: No she didn’t.

Shawn: Like it matters.

Brandon: Hey guys the games back on.

 

The guys continue watching the game.

 

To the girls in a shoe store in the mall:

Crystal: How about these?

Paige: Those are too high.

Tiffany: How about these?

Paige: Those are too low, plus there ugly!

Elizabeth: Ok then why don’t you pick a pair.

Paige: Fine. I like these.

Elizabeth: Hey those are kind of cute.

Tiffany: Yeah they are.

Crystal: You should get them.

Paige: I think we’re done shopping.

 

Paige goes to the cash register and buys the shoes. Then the girls leave the mall and go to Paige’s house.

 

To Brandon, Darryl, and Shawn at Shawn’s house:

Brandon: Well we’re in the final quarter.

Shawn: Yeah and the Nuggets are up by 2. I told you Carmelow was gonna make a comeback.

Darryl: Whatever

Brandon: Yeah, but Allen still has time to redeem himself and brings the Sixers to victory.

Shawn: Ha, I doubt that happening.

Darryl: Yeah, I bet you they will.

Shawn: Yeah whatever man.

Brandon: Guys be quiet and let’s finish watching the game.

 

The guys watch the final play in the 4^th quarter of the game. The final shot taken and the Sixers win with a 3 pointer by Allen Iverson.

Brandon: Ha. I told you the Nuggets weren’t going to win.

Darryl: Ha, Ha.

Shawn: Yeah whatever. They’ll win next game.

Darryl: Well I gotta get out of here.

Brandon: Yeah I better get out of here too. It’s movie night for Elizabeth and I and it’s my turn to go rent the dvds.

Shawn: Well I’ll see you all around. I have to get ready for my date with Tiffany.

Darryl: Aight man, I’ll holla at you lata.

 

Darryl and Brandon leave Shawn’s house.

 

To the girls at Paige’s house:

Crystal: So are you excited?

Paige: Yeah I am.

Elizabeth: What time is he coming to pick you up?

Paige: 8:00pm

Crystal: So…who is this mystery man?

Paige: It’s Marcus.

Elizabeth: You mean that hottie from the concert?

Paige: Yeah

Crystal: So when did he ask out?

Paige: Thanks for helping me out and I’ll talk to you later.

Tiffany: Bye

 

Tiffany leaves Paige’s house and goes home to get ready for her date with Shawn. The girls sit and chat a little longer the Elizabeth and Crystal leave Paige’s house and go home. Paige begins getting ready for her date with Marcus. Meanwhile Brandon’s on his way to Elizabeth’s house to watch a movie. Once Brandon gets to Elizabeth’s house, he rings the doorbell and she lets him in:

Brandon: Hey Baby, I got the movies.

Elizabeth: Good! What movies did you get?

Brandon: I got House of Wax, Wedding Crashers, and Freddy vs. Jason. Which one do you want to watch first?

Elizabeth: How about Wedding Crashers?

Brandon: Ok

Elizabeth: I’ll go make some popcorn and you set the movie up.

Brandon: Cool

 

Brandon goes and sets up the movie while Elizabeth makes the popcorn. Once the popcorn is done Elizabeth returns to the living room and sits on the couch next to Brandon. They begin watching the movie.

 

To Tiffany and Shawn at Tiffany’s house:

Shawn: Hey, so you ready to go?

Tiffany: Yeah

 

So Tiffany and Shawn get in the car and go to the restaurant. Once they’ve sat down and placed there orders:

Shawn: So did have fun going shopping with Paige?

Tiffany: Yeah I did.

Shawn: That’s good. Did Crystal know that Paige had a date tonite?

Tiffany: Yeah, why?

Shawn: Because when I told Darryl about it, he was surprised.

Tiffany: Oh…I guess she just forgot to tell him.

Shawn: I guess so. Tiffany are you ok?

Tiffany: Yeah I’m fine, why do you ask?

Shawn: Because you don’t look so good.

Tiffany: Really Shawn I’m fine.

Shawn: Ok

 

To Paige and Marcus at Paige’s house:

Marcus pulls up to Paige’s house. He gets out of the car and rings the doorbell. Paige comes to the door, then they get in the car and go to dinner. Once they sit down and order there food:

Marcus: I’m glad you agreed to go out with me.

Paige: I figured it was a good way to get to know you better.

Marcus: That’s what I was thinking too.

Paige: So what do you wanna know?

Marcus: What interest you?

Paige: Music, Poetry, and Art.

Marcus: What goals do you have?

Paige: My goals are graduating college and become apart of business world. How about you?

Marcus: My interests are Sports, Rap Music, and Cars. As far as my goals there about the same as yours.

Paige: Cool

 

To Tiffany and Shawn at dinner:

Shawn: What is it Tiffany?

Tiffany: I was just thinking about that girl saying she could take you away from me.

Shawn: You don’t even need to worry about that, cause I’m not going anywhere. I love you.

Shawn: Come on let’s get out of here.

 

So Shawn and Tiffany pay the bill and leave the restaurant. Shawn drops Tiffany off at home, then he goes home.

 

To Paige and Marcus at dinner:

Marcus: Did you want any dessert?

Paige: No, I’m fine.

Marcus: So you ready to go?

Paige: Ok

 

Marcus and Paige leave the restaurant. Marcus drives Paige home, they get to the front of Paige’s house:

Paige: I really had a good time.

Marcus: Me too! And I was hoping we could go out again soon.

Paige: Sure, I would love too, but when?

Marcus: How about Tuesday night?

Paige: Sounds good to me, I’ll see you then.

Marcus: (Leaning in for a kiss) Goodbye.

Paige: (Gets out of the car) Goodbye and Goodnite Marcus. I’ll see you Tuesday.

 

Paige walks to the door and goes inside her house. After Paige goes inside Marcus drives home.

 

To Brandon and Elizabeth at Elizabeth’s house:

Brandon: Now that was a funny movie.

Elizabeth: Yeah it was.

Brandon: Well I better get out of here.

Elizabeth: Ok I’ll see you tomorrow.

Brandon: Bye

 

Brandon leaves Elizabeth’s house and goes home. Just then Elizabeth’s phone rings:

Elizabeth: Hello

Paige: Hey girl

Elizabeth: So how was your date with Marcus?

Paige: It was great.

Elizabeth: Where did you all go?

Paige: Out to dinner.

Elizabeth: Sounds nice. So will there be a second date?

Paige: As a matter of fact we have another date this Tuesday.

Elizabeth: It sounds like he really likes you!

Paige: I think I’ve finally found someone just for me.

 

 

Part 9: She’s Found Love or So She Thinks?

 

The next morning Paige and Darryl go out to have breakfast and to talk:

Darryl: So why didn’t you tell me?

Paige: Tell you what?

Darryl: About this Marcus guy you’re dating.

Paige: I was, but I thought Crystal told you.

Darryl: No, she didn’t.

Paige: Oh…I don’t know what the big deal is?

Darryl: It’s not that it’s just….

Paige: Just what?

Darryl: We’ve been friends a long time and yet everybody else knew about it before I did.

Paige: I’m sorry. I should probably tell you now that I have another date with him Tuesday.

Darryl: Oh (Pauses) so I guess you must like him or else you wouldn’t have agreed to a second date.

Paige: Yeah, I do. I like him the way you like Crystal.

Darryl: Oh….So does he feel the same way about you?

Paige: I don’t know, but I think he does.

Darryl: Don’t you think you’re kind of rushing this? (Pauses) I mean you haven’t known him that long to be talking like this.

Paige: Maybe you’re right, but I just feel like he connects with me and understands me.

Darryl: Just take it one step at a time.

Paige: Ok

 

So Paige and Darryl eat there breakfast. Meanwhile Shawn and Crystal hangout at Grandma Rose’s house:

Crystal: Have you noticed that Tiffany’s been kind of off balance lately?

Shawn: Yeah, so you noticed too?

Crystal: Definitely. Like when we went shopping with Paige.

Shawn: What happened?

Crystal: She got sick and was vomiting.

Shawn: Really?

Crystal: Yeah, but I guess she’s ok now.

Shawn: I hope so.

Crystal: Same here.

Grandma Rose: Come on you all breakfast is getting cold.

Shawn We’re coming Grandma.

 

Shawn and Crystal go to the dining room and begin eating.

 

To Paige and Darryl at the restaurant:

Paige: I’m glad we had this talk.

Darryl: Me too! Well I guess I’ll see you later then.

Paige: Yeah, I’ll call you later.

Darryl gets up and leaves the restaurant. Paige sits a thinks a little while, then she leaves the restaurant. While Crystal and Shawn sit at Grandma Rose’s house and eats:

Shawn: Grandma Rose this food is so good.

Grandma Rose: Well I’m glad you like it baby.

Crystal: So Grandma, I have a question for you.

Grandma Rose: What is it baby?

Crystal: What do you think of Darryl?

Grandma Rose: I think he’s a very nice young man, why do you ask?

Crystal: I don’t know, just wondering.

Shawn: I think I know what this is about. Is this about Darryl and Paige.

Crystal: Says nothing

Grandma Rose: What about Darryl and Paige?

Shawn: Paige is dating this guy name Marcus and everybody know about it but Darryl. And he was kind of upset that she hadn’t told him. So crystal thinks that he likes her.

Crystal: You think so Grandma?

Grandma Rose: I know so. (As she hugs Crystal)

Shawn: See I told you.

 

To Brandon and Elizabeth at the coffee house:

Brandon: So are the four of us still on for bowling tonight?

Elizabeth: You know it! Oh wait I forgot, Paige has a date tonight.

Brandon: Is it with that Marcus dude again?

Elizabeth: Yeah! Maybe we can get Crystal to take Paige’s place.

Brandon: Yeah I guess so, but it’s not gonna be the same.

Elizabeth: Yeah I know.

Brandon: So have you talk to her lately?

Elizabeth: Yeah I talked to her last night; she was suppose to be having breakfast with Darryl this morning.

Brandon: Do you know why?

Elizabeth: No, she said something about him wanting to talk about something. I don’t know the details though.

Brandon: Oh I never thought I’d see the day when one of us missed our weekly trip to the bowling alley.

Elizabeth: I did, I mean it was bound to happen eventually.

Brandon: True, True

Elizabeth: Well we better get out of here.

 

So Brandon and Elizabeth get up and leave the coffee shop.

 

Back to Crystal and Shawn at Grandma Rose’s house:

Shawn: Grandma Rose it was good seeing you, but I gotta get going.

Grandma Rose: Ok, well it was good seeing you.

 

Shawn gets up and leaves Grandma Rose’s house. Grandma Rose clears the table and begins washing the dishes.

Crystal: Grandma Rose, you need some help with the dishes.

Grandma Rose: Yes baby, I really appreciate it.

 

Crystal begins helping her Grandma with the dishes:

Grandma Rose: So are you still having a problem with Darryl and Paige’s relationship.

Crystal: Sort of.

Grandma Rose: Then why don’t you tell him about it and see what he says.

Crystal: Because I don’t want him to feel like I’m jealous of her or that I’m bugging him about it.

Grandma Rose: Honey it’s not about that, you’re doing this for you, to put your mind at ease.

Crystal: I guess you’re right.

 

Just then the phone rings:

Crystal: Hello

Darryl: Hey Baby, what’s going on with you?

Crystal: Nothing. I was just about to call you; I need to talk to you about something.

Darryl: Ok, but let me ask you something first.

Crystal: Ok, what is it?

Darryl: See Brandon, Elizabeth, Paige, and I have a little thing we do every Tuesday night! But since Paige has a date tonight, I was wondering if you could take her place, just this tonite.

Crystal: Sure, what are we doing?

Darryl: We’re going bowling.

Crystal: Ok. Now I have something to ask you.

Darryl: Umm can it wait, because I’m at work right now, so I can’t really talk.

Crystal: Ok I’ll ask you later on tonight.

Darryl: Ok, bye

 

Crystal hangs up the phone.

 

The day turns into night. Marcus comes to pick up Paige for their date. Once he picks her up they go to a movie. Meanwhile Darryl, Crystal, Brandon, and Elizabeth are at the bowling alley:

Brandon: Ok, so how do you guys wanna pick teams?

Elizabeth: How about the boys vs. the girls?

Darryl: Yeah, but we did that last week.

Elizabeth: Then how about couple vs. couple?

Darryl: That will work.

Brandon: You all are going down.

Crystal: In your dreams.

 

The couples begin to bowl. While Paige is at the movies with Marcus:

Marcus: This is my favorite part.

Paige: You’ve seen this before?

Marcus: Yeah, like four times already.

Paige: Then you must really like it.

Marcus: Yeah I do.

 

The movie ends and Paige and Marcus go out to dinner. Once they finish eating dinner. Paige asks Marcus to swing by the bowling alley so he can meet her friends. To the bowling alley were Brandon, Elizabeth, Darryl, and Crystal are:

Brandon: Yeah we’re up by 2, I told you all you were going down.

Crystal: Yeah whatever, but if Darryl makes this strike we win.

Brandon: Yeah like that will happen.

 

Just then Paige and Marcus walk in the bowling alley:

Paige: Hey guys.

Elizabeth: Hey, I didn’t expect to see you here.

Paige: Now you know I couldn’t miss bowling night.

Brandon: Well we’re glad you could make it.

Darryl: So who’s your friend?

Paige: Oh I’m sorry you guys, this is Marcus.

Marcus: It’s nice to meet all of you.

Darryl: It’s nice to meet you too!

 

Paige and Marcus sit and watch Darryl and the others bowl for a little while then they get ready to leave:

Paige: Well I hate to leave so soon guys, but we gotta go.

Elizabeth: But why?

Darryl: Yeah you just got here.

Paige: I have to get home and Marcus has to go to work in the morning, so we better get going.

Crystal: Well bye

Brandon: I’ll see you Paige.

Elizabeth: Yeah and it was nice meeting you Marcus.

Paige: Bye you guys

 

So Paige and Marcus leave the bowling alley. Marcus takes Paige home, walks her to the door, then he gets in his car and goes home.

 

Back to Brandon, Elizabeth, Darryl, and Crystal:

Elizabeth: Well you guys about ready to go home?

Darryl: Yeah, I gotta go to work.

Crystal: And I promised Tiffany I’d go shopping with her tomorrow.

Brandon: Fine. Then let’s get out of here.

 

Brandon, Elizabeth, Crystal, and Darryl leave the bowling alley and go home.
